To play Poker Fantasy Team open a free account, all information is kept strictly confidential, read our privacy statement. You may upgrade to Elite Player anytime you login to your account.
Upon login you will be taken to your player page (see screen shot at the bottom of the page). At the top is the player shield where it will show your player status (Free or Elite) and your Elite points available for �drafting� or �buying� your Pro picks.
Free members play all games free for the Champion Fantasy Team for each series and will win one month free Elite membership. Elite Members pay monthly membership dues and receives points that are used for �drafting� or �buying� Pro players for there team. Elite members play for prize money put up by Poker Fantasy Team and there sponsors. You will never be asked to pay a cash entry fee to enter any of our fantasy games.
Each WPT or WSOP* series (about one series each month) is played as two games. The first game is the total points won for all the events leading up to the main event and the second game is the total points for the main event. Fantasy players receive points calculated by using buyin, number of players and the placing of the top 5% of players in the live event for there "drafted" Pro Picks. The points each of your pros earns for you is added together for your total score. As the membership grows we will give more prizes for events and we plan some bonus prizes for the 2010 WSOP*.
Below the members shield is the panel with drop down menus used to pick your pros for each event. If you want the same pro for all the events choose all events from the menu. You are allowed to pick 10 Pros for each event. The system will not allow you to pick more that 10. Below that is the edit button so you can make changes to your picks. Any time before or when you reach your limit of 10 just delete one if you want a different pro and add a new pro. You have up to the start of a live event to pick your pros or to edit a pick. If you are an elite member 10 points is deducted from your total each time you pick or "draft" a pro for an event. If you run low on points because of to much editing of pro picks or a large event field you may reload points on your personal account page.
Use the List of Pros button to find the pros available to pick from. On that page you will see button links to listings of these pros and there all time stats for WPT and WSOP events and there Card Player, Player of the Year (POY) ranking and stats for 2009. You can also get more info and read each players bio by going to
Card Player.com and clicking on the player�s name.
Below that is your results buttons. My Team Results is the points each member of your team has earned for you and the total points your team has earned for you. My Fantasy Results is your standings with all the other players. If you are an Elite player it will show your points and standings in both Elite and Free results. Also in the results area you will find a page with the live tournament pro player results for each event.
You can create a poker fantasy league and invite your friends, co-workers, etc. for private competitions. When you create a league you will be asked to create a password. Whoever you invite to join your league will need the league name and that password to join the league when they login to Poker Fantasy Team. Your Fantasy game stats will be listed in the free and or Elite results area and your League standings will be listed on your private league results page along with the other members of your league. You can play in the Elite games and still belong to a private league with Free members.
On the right side of your player page is your Fantasy Team list of pros and events of the the current series you are playing and a link at the bottom of the page to print a list of your pro picks.
You can check on the scheduled dates for WPT or WSOP tournament series with the Tournament Series Schedule button. You can check the current series event schedule we are playing with the Events Schedule button.
The cash payouts will be to the top 10% of the Elite players. So far our sponsors are providing $400 for the fantasy game - Beau Rivage Event 1 - event 32 total points and $100 for the Beau Rivage Main Event. When our Elite membership passes 20 our sponsors will add more to the prize pool. Check back here or the Results pages for the prize pool for the current Fantasy games.
Go to My Account to view your account profile and to edit if necessary. You can also view and cash out your Elite earnings on your account page.
